Rex Beltz - Principal

Hello! My name is Rex Beltz and I am so excited to start my 28th year in education as the high school principal here in Fayette.  I can't wait to be a part of the Falcon Flock and think my experiences at Slater, Rock Bridge and Glasgow have prepared me to be the best principal I can be for this school district. I am originally from Cabool, MO, but have spent the majority of my life here in central Missouri. I attended college at Missouri Valley and received my education degree while participating in football and track. I coached on the college level while getting my masters from Lindenwood University and have taught every grade from K-12th. I met my wife of 25 years, Cindy, while teaching at Slater. I have gotten to fly two NASA missions while teaching at Rock Bridge and spent the last 3 years at Glasgow as the high school principal. In addition to my wife, I am blessed with my son Caleb and daughter-in-law Meg, and they gave us our 2-year-old granddaughter Maggie. I am going to be blessed again in October with the addition of Theo as my second grandchild. I cannot wait to grow and learn with each of you here at Fayette High School.
